F I R S T L Y: Though this poster may seem humorous by nature, it was not intended as a joke because not only are rape jokes disgusting but I am as serious about my love for all things Harry Potter as I am about my stance on social and sexual politics. Rape is an unpleasant but extremely relevant topic in our times and combatting its culture is as important in the magical world as in the muggle world, so I hope that every child will be taught that using a love potion that comes in a can with a percentage on it is just as bad.
Might I add that Jo 100% feels the same way as the OP. Just look at all the negative effects love potions have. Jo has said that a child conceived under the influence of a love potion will be unable to feel love (EX: Voldemort). Clearly those consequences are a message to readers saying that rape is under no circumstances okay.

It’s a dangerous thing to leave fandoms to their own devices for long periods of time- they tend to get stuck in this weird feedback loop of fan theories and inside jokes, eventually superseding and enveloping the source material entirely.
No fault to the people who enjoy that sort of thing, I’ve just lost track of what Watson is supposed to be made of at this point and kinda want to get back to, y’know
the mystery stuff
wow someone who shares my exact opinion and made a neat infographic

“I love how there’s no elitism amongst the Fallout fanbase - Fallout 1, 3, 2, BoS, New vegas, it doesn’t matter where you got on we’re just happy you’re here.”

Panther: The thing that a lot of people don’t know is that Commander is a lot like a football coach. We get prepared.
Interviewer: You obviously organize your fans, I can tell…you have an army of fans and if you need them to do something…
Commander: We have no control over that nightmare.
Murphy: I don’t even know those people.
Panther: Not only do we have an army of fans, we have a mobile army.
Interviewer: Can I go ahead and thank your fans real quick because this is the biggest turnout we’ve ever had on Local Buzz Live, since we’ve been on the air?
Panther: Half these people have no idea what 102.9 is. They drove in from God knows where. … What I will say about our band is we have an undying loyal nightmare busload of fans that will drive from wherever they happen to be. It makes it exciting for us.
Interviewer: You feed off it.
Commander: I don’t.
Murphy: Except for Commander. He feeds on himself.- from a brief radio interview February 2010, 102.9 Local Buzz
